Stan Cameron wants to serve his community even more. He offers his name, history of community giving, along with his personal and professional qualifications for voters’ consideration, in the race for the Peel District School Board (PDSB) trustee position for Caledon.
Leadership, Equity and Education
Well known for his support of equity and access in public education in Caledon, Stan Cameron has taken on leadership roles wherever leadership has been needed. He has been a volunteer at the public school level for 14 years. Stan was the Peel District School Board’s Award of Excellence recipient for Excellence in Volunteer Service to schools.
Family, Education and more…
A 35 year resident of Caledon, Stan and his wife Debbie have been married for 28 years. They have two children, Kayla 23 just completed two university degrees at Nipissing University and Carly 19, entering her second year at Brock University. Debbie has 2 college diplomas in dental assisting, one from Seneca College and one from Durham. Stan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Education. He also completed two Community College diplomas – on in Recreation Leadership and one in Correctional Work. Clearly, education is a very strong core value for Stan and his family.
